Synapse – Pakistan Neuroscience Institute collaborated with Habib University and organized a 4-hours workshop for school counsellors from across the city of Karachi. The program included an interactive approach and active engagement strategies. These included experiential workshop incorporating speaker’s inspirational session, skill-based workshop, and reflection-based exercises. The focus was on student experience approach for developing a focused curriculum with integrated and outcome-based experiential learning.

 The objectives  were;

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Appreciate the importance of self and team-care
• Familiarize themselves with the experience of being a helper AND a distressed person
• Demonstrate responses to psychological/behavioral crisis reactions
• Recognize when to facilitate access to further mental health support.
